What your fee covers
The fee covers the Silver Skills connection
An accepted request opens a private connection room. You can message the Skilled Member, discuss the job properly, and agree the scope, price, timing and payment directly.

What the fee does not do
The fee does not pay for the work. It is not a deposit, not a quote, not payment to the Skilled Member, and it does not make Silver Skills responsible for the job outcome.
Standard, Urgent and Priority help mark your request. Urgent and Priority do not guarantee acceptance, timing, price, outcome or a faster response.
The Skilled Member reads the request and decides whether the job is suitable. If they decline, you do not pay the connection fee for that request.
Important boundaries
Clear fees, with no false promises
Paying a higher tier changes how your request is marked and handled inside Silver Skills. It does not make Silver Skills the employer, supervisor, insurer, payment handler or guarantor of the job.

Once the connection opens
I understand that once my connection opens, the fee is generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where Silver Skills decides otherwise.
Goodwill decisions
In limited situations, we may choose to issue a goodwill credit or refund. That is handled privately and is not promised as a standard outcome.
